two20is a ministry of Mahomet Christian Church. Our goal is to meet the spiritual and relational needs of students in 6th through 12th grades. We believe that Youth Ministry is a vital part of a student’s life. Everything that we do in two20 is done with a distinct purpose. Whether it’s a game night, our annual Just Dew It Relays, Service opportunities or Bible study, we believe that all these things help shape us to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
It is our desire that students who are a part of two20 would not just think of it as a “youth group” or an event to attend, but would come to know Jesus Christ in a real way, and begin to live out what scriptures say in Galatians 2:20 (NLT)…
My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
We meet in two separate groups so that Middle School and High School students can have more focused studies, discussions, events, and relationships so that they can be better built up in Christ.
