Our Staff...

David L. Johnson
Senior Minister

Jeff is the newest addition to our church
staff. He assumed his position of Youth
Minister in May 2009.

Before coming to Mahomet in June of 2005, he was Senior Minister at the Fairdale
Christian Church in Fairdale, KY, a suburb of Louisville. He has been active in
ministerial associations and community organizations wherever he has lived,
participating not only as a member but in leadership roles as well.

David and his wife, Barby, have two daughters (LeAnn and Samantha), two sons (David,
Jr. and Stephen), and five grandchildren (Jackie, Damian, Caleb, Jacilyn and Hannah).

David's special interests include golf, travel and writing.

Jeff Dyson
Youth Minister

Jeff grew up in Mahomet and at Mahomet Christian Church. He and his wife, Polly,
return to Mahomet with their two children, Tiana and Noah, and with a passion for both
the youth of Mahomet and MCC. Jeff Studied Youth Ministry at Anderson University,
graduated from Parkland College in Liberal Arts, and graduated Southern Illinois
University in Secondary Education. For years, Jeff has been involved in church
leadership, and community service, such as Boys and Girls Club and others.

                                             David received his B.S. Degree from Johnson Bible
                                             College, Knoxville, TN in 1974. He was ordained that year
                                              by his home church in Lexington, KY.

                                             David brings over 30 years of ministry experience to MCC
                                              having ministered in Kentucky, Florida, Texas and
                                              Oklahoma.

Marsha Colclasure
Secretary

our secretary, Marsha Colclasure. Your
calls to the church office are most often
answered with her cheerful voice and
service!

Marsha was born in Effingham, Illinois but raised in St. Joseph where she graduated
from High School. From there it was off to Lincoln Christian College. Marsha and her
husband, John, are charter members of Mahomet Christian Church. She joined our
staff as Church Secretary June 1, 1995.

In her spare time, Marsha enjoys painting, gardening and travel (loves oceans!).
