Tilford, Ron Ross, and Mike Tilford make up
the Christian music group called “Chosen”.
Formed in 1984, Chosen serves as a music
ministry of Mahomet Christian Church both as
a worship team and as music ambassadors
for Christ. The group sings regularly at their
home church, but also has traveled to
churches in Illinois, Indiana, Arkansas and
Arizona to perform both concerts and musical
presentations. The group’s name is taken
from I Peter 2:9 where Peter writes, “You are
a chosen people, a people belonging to God,
that you may declare the praises of Him who
called you out of the darkness and into His
wonderful light.”
Tilford, Ron Ross, and Mike Tilford make up
